Daily Expedition Schedule
After a transfer from Moshi or Arusha, you'll arrive at Lemosho Gate, where you will complete registration formalities and meet your professional mountain crew. Your trek then begins through the lush, untouched rainforest that characterizes the early stages of the Lemosho Route on Mount Kilimanjaro. The trail winds gently through dense vegetation filled with towering trees, giant ferns, and rich biodiversity. Along the way, you may encounter playful monkeys and a variety of exotic bird species, adding life and color to the forest experience. The gradual ascent allows you to settle into the rhythm of the climb while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. By late afternoon, you will reach Big Tree Camp, where you'll set up for your first night on the mountain, surrounded by the sounds and serenity of the rainforest.
